Ronald L. Meyer ”Ron”, age 85, of Dublin, passed away November 12, 2023. He was born October 8, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH. Beloved husband of Eileen for 59 wonderful years. Loving father and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Gertrude Meyer. Survived by loving wife Eileen, children John Meyer Sr., Jerry (Rachel) Meyer and Julie Meyer, grandchildren Lauren (Nickolas) Golden, John Meyer II, Jacob Meyer, Noah Meyer and Lindsey Meyer.
Ron enjoyed his grandchildren, gourmet cooking, playing golf, studied martial arts and was a black belt in Karate. He also loved working in the yard, playing cards, hunting, trapshooting, fishing and spending time with family at Siesta Key beach. He was one of the founding members of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church and a Knights of Columbus Life Member Third Degree of Council #10863 in Dublin.
Ron worked in sales all of his life. He was a Regional Territory Sales Manager for All Brand Importers Inc./Guinness beer company and was Vice President of E.C. Demonstrators, Inc. We remember Ron for his independent spirit, his devotion to church and family and his appreciation of lifelong friends. He instilled in his children and grandchildren to work hard, be kind to everyone and do their best. He will be missed by all.
Family will receive friends Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2pm-4pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, PLAIN CITY, DUBLIN Chapel, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064. Family will also receive friends Monday, November 20, 2023 from 9:30am-10:30am at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, 7179 Avery Rd., Dublin, OH 43017; where a Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30am. Inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
