Luella Nisly

Luella Nisly, age 73, of Dublin, Ohio, met her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 30, 2022 while at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Plain City, Ohio to the late Ben and Martha (Hostetler) Helmuth, Luella is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years Wayne Nisly, her children Delores (Paul) Groh and Keith (Lynette) Nisly, her grandchildren Rachel (David) Appelt, Rebecca (Stephen) Eckels, Sarah Groh, Jared Nisly, Josiah Nisly and Jaleah Nisly, her great-grandson Haddon Appelt, her brothers and sisters: Johnny (Karen) Helmuth, Kathryn (Eli) Hostetler, Ed (Becky) Helmuth, Lloyd (Mo) Helmuth and Mary Helmuth, 19 nieces and nephews, 56 great-nieces and great-nephews, 6 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bunny Stutzman, Cal (Orpha) Nisly, Harley (Orpha) Nisly, Liz (John) Bender, Dorothy (Ron) Miller, Marvin (Fern) Nisly, Elva (Rudy) Smith, Merle (Rita) Nisly, Sanford (Emily) Nisly, and Ruth Nisly. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Clarence Stutzman, Vernon & Rosa Nisly, Velma & Roy Plank, Sylvia & John Nisly, Willis & Becky Nisly and Maynard Nisly. Luella is also survived by the many loving members of the extended Nisly Family and her many, many wonderful friends.

Luella was a faithful 17-year member of Northwest Chapel where she and Wayne were active in the ABF Bible Study Class. Together, Luella and Wayne were founding organizers of the Der Dutchman Cruise-In held every Thursday evening in season.

Family will receive friends 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. FRIDAY at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, PLAIN CITY-DUBLIN CHAPEL, 9720 SR 161, Plain City, OH 43064. Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00a.m. SATURDAY, JANUARY 7, 2023 at NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 6700 Rings Road, Dublin, OH 43016 with Pastors Martin Guerena and David Appelt, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, Ohio.
