Lorretta J Murray

Loretta J. (Burke) Murray, age 85, of Hilliard, passed away October 17, 2023, at Kobacker House in Columbus. Born in 1937, Loretta was the 10^th of 11 children born to Helen (Bennett) and Paul W. Burke of Springfield. She enjoyed reading, genealogy, gardening and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years William (Bill) Murray, her parents and siblings Mary Leitschuh, Joseph Burke, William Burke, Margaret Baker, Raymond Burke, Robert Burke, Roseann McFarland, Donald Burke, and Ruth Burke. She is survived by her brother Thomas Burke and her three daughters, Christy (Tim) Treneff, Kelly Murray Kidd and Susan (Peter) Young; grandchildren Ryan Kidd, Alex (Cristie) Treneff, Katie (Marty) Mitchell, Abby Young, Adam Young and Anna Young; and great-granddaughters Charlotte, Caroline and Grace Treneff. Dear family friend and loving caregiver Carol Anderson and many friends and neighbors also mourn this loss.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00am at the Tidd Funeral Home Plain City-Dublin Chapel, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 noon. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service.
