Linda G. Grimmett, age 71, of Plain City, Ohio, met her Savior on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Born in Prestonburg (Floyd County), KY to the late Jobie and Alvania Akers, she graduated from Jonathan Alder High School, Class of 1969. Linda retired as a medical bill specialist from Medibill after many years of service. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings Larry Akers, Shirley Gayheart, Lonnie Akers, Prudy Tackett and Bonnie Calaway. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 53 years, Ron Grimmett, her sons Greg (Delilah) and Jeff (Donna) Grimmett, her grandsons Gavin and Noah, sisters Clara (Bud) Conley, Oma (Homer) Dudley and Ella (Roger) Hicks, brother-in-law Ralph Calaway, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was a faithful, dedicated member of Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church where she loved her Bible Study and enjoyed the many church activities, music and fellowship. She was an avid reader, loved long walks, enjoyed camping and sitting around the campfire.
