Laura Fritz

March 2, 1955 — April 11, 2024

Laura Jean Fritz, age 69, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024. Attended Northwest Bible Church. Graduated from Bay Village High School Class of 1973, and attended The Ohio State University afterwards. Laura was a longtime employee of Hilliard City Schools where she worked with Special Needs students her whole career. Laura truly had a passion for helping all who needed help and had a one of a kind heart of gold. Laura was also an avid fan of all Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers, OSU sports, especially OSU hockey, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Florence Zeberko, her brother Frank Zeberko and her sister Veronica Zeberko and her loving husband of 38 years, Mark Fritz. Survived are her children Michael (Megan) Fritz and Christina Fritz, brother-in-law David (Terri) Fritz, nephews Robbie and Toby Fritz, faithful pet companion Petals, special friends Matt, Wendy and their children, Erica, Abby and Natalie Brown, and many other friends. Following Laura’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Laura's name, especially the Special Olympics or Autism Speaks Organization.
