Joan Marie Moffett

Joan Marie Moffett, born in Columbus, Ohio, to Albert and Florence Priore, June 13, 1949.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter. The sun rose and set with her family. Joan adored her grandchildren and cherished each moment she spent with them baking cookies, creating crafts, or just snuggling and sharing stories. She loved the sun and sand, walking miles on a beach, at sunset, wading in the ocean, sandals in hand, looking for the perfect sea shell.

Joan is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dan Moffett, children, Jennifer Moffett and Tom (Amy) Moffett, grandchildren Lainey and Sully Moffett, sister Kay (Richard) Kramer, and her many beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Joan’s smile, laughter, and spirit lifted those around her. The world is a better place for her having been in it. And we are all better human beings for having known her and loved her.

The family expresses their deep gratitude to the staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital and Kobacker House.

Joan’s family invites friends and family for a funeral service and visitation at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Dublin-Plain City Chapel, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064, on Friday, March 28, 2025. The visitation will begin at 10:00AM and end at 12:00PM for the funeral service to follow immediately after at 12:00PM.
