Jason Brown was born on September 11, 1976 in San Diego, California and spent his childhood in Chula Vista. He eventually moved to Columbus and earned his high school diploma from Hilliard High School in 1994. At age 16, Jason received his first love, a 1966 red mustang that he still had and cherished.
Jason proudly served in the Navy Seabees, which he loved and was a member of Hilliard Moose, Hilliard VFW and HBA. He loved being a coach for baseball in Hilliard and prepping the fields, and doing all he could for the baseball community. Everyone that knew Jason, knew that his favorite team was the SAN DIEGO PADRES and his favorite player of course was catcher, Benito Santiago. He once ran as a write-in for mayor for Hilliard but ever since his accident has lived with his parents in what he called his country home in Mt Gilead.
He is preceded in death by both of his grandmothers, Fern Fortney Stumpf and Mona Brown Crager
Jason is survived by his mother and father, Kris and Chuck Brown, of Fredericktown, his son Andrew of Hilliard, sister, Amanda, (Jeff) Mix of Hilliard, and brother Chuck (Alicia) Of Tempe, Az, his nieces, skylar ( Tyler) Neeves of Myrtle Beach, Pyper (Mike) Longanecker of Corona, Ca and Willow Brown of Redlands, and also nephew Nathan, Mix of Hilliard, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
