Jarrett Flynn

Jarrett Flynn, age 39, of Plain City, Ohio passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on January 28, 2024, after a 3-year battle with cancer.  He was born on July 13, 1984, in Altamont, Tennessee to Dwayne and Shelia Flynn.  

Jarrett was raised in Dunlap, Tennessee, where he graduated from Sequatchie County High School in 2003.  He was a proud member of the Ohio Military Reserve and later went on to college to study business administration, where he received his associate degree.  Jarrett was an avid outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed spending his free time hunting.  He will be incredibly missed by all who knew him.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Sue Harmon, as well as his grandfather, Tony Flynn.

Jarrett is survived by his parents, Dwayne and Shelia Flynn, his beloved wife, Jen, his beautiful children, Harper and Mason, grandmother, Maudie Flynn, his close aunt and uncle, Donna and Sonny Kustes and many more extended family members and dear friends.

Following his services in Tennessee, Jarrett's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life here at our Plain City location. The visitation will be held on February 10, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm with the Celebration of Life immediately to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jarrett's name to Hospice of Central Ohio - 2269 Cherry Valley Rd SE Newark, OH 43055 - If you would like for your donations to be made specifically to the inpatient unit that so kindly cared for Jarrett, make sure to add "IPU" in the memo.
