Elverna E. Wolpert

Elverna E. Wolpert 90 of Hilliard. Born January 9^th 1932 on her family farm west of Plain City, Ohio in the Darby plains.

Preceded in death by her parents Kilian and Clara Boerger, Husband Richard Wolpert, Brothers Harold and Melvin Boerger. Survived by her son Larry (Ann) Wolpert, Daughter Mary Jane (John) Wayman, Sister Jeanette (Harold) Stauch, grandchildren Courtney (AJ) Pope, Sarah Wayman and several nieces and nephews.

 She graduated from Darby Chuckery schools and worked briefly at the downtown Lazarus department store before marrying her husband. After her children were in school, she joined her husband as a farmer in Hilliard. She could plow and disc ground, take grain wagons to the elevator and lift 50-pound fertilizer bags like the best of them. She was a woman of deep faith and a member of St. John Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Dublin, Ohio for 69 years.

The family will receive friends at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10 a.m., where the family will receive friends an hour prior at 9 a.m. Pastor Adam Stienbrenner officiating and interment at Dublin Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elverna’s memory may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
