Brian E. Pinney, 72 passed away peacefully Monday, June 10, 2024. He was born March 27 in Columbus Ohio to the late Earl and Mona Pinney.
He was a craftsman a man of many trades. He was our real-life MacGyver. You could call him for anything and he could fix it. There was no problem too big or small for him, in his younger years you would see him riding around PC on his three-wheeler. He was a hippie, incense burning, love big kind of guy. He always had a smile on his face and a big hug before you left.
Brian worked for Casagrande Masonry for many years. He was a stone mason. He has built many building around the Columbus area and a few won awards. Whatever Brian touched was beautiful.
Brian had a big heart. He always enjoyed fishing, going to the lot, trips up to Canada, his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His favorite companion was Sunny an Austrian shepherd. After retirement he enjoyed ‘farting around the garage’ and dreaming up his next big invention.
Preceded by death his parents. Survived by wife, Sherry Sparks Pinney; children, Melissa (David) King, Brian (Erica) Pinney and Heidi Hall; grandchildren, Caleb (Dakota) King, Alyssa (Justin) Pinney, Bethany Pinney, Ethan Pinney, Sarah King, Emmett Doyle, great grandchildren, Karson King, Spencer King; siblings, Greg (Pam) Pinney, Rodger (Annie) Pinney.
The family is having a private graveside service on Saturday.
