Anna Mary Jaconetti Steele

Mary (Jaconettti) Steele passed away peacefully at the age of 100 on February 16, 2023. Born on March 2, 1922 to Pasquale and Serafina Jaconnette, she was preceded in death by her husband Herb, son Herb (Buster) and daughter Mary Lou, brothers Fred (Elva) Jaconnette, Tom (Ida) Jaconnette, Blupe (Helen) Jaconnette, Tony (Mary) Jaconnette, sisters Raffella (Bruno) Carrocce, and Lucy (Clyde) Harris . Mary is survived by daughter Brenda (Denny) McDougle, grandchildren Brian (Barrett) McDougle, Michael (Tegan Magsam) McDougle, Adam (Clara) McDougle, Brittney (Robert) Bourne, Gretchen (David) Eckstein, and Gabe Roese and great grandchildren Leo Bourne, Bryson and Hattie Ault, Caiden and Reid Eckstein, and Lucy and Gabe Roese.

Mary, Lucy and Herb were known as the Three Musketeers because they did everything together (bingo, babysitting, trips to Vegas.) She also spent many of her later years taking care of her sister Lucy and husband Herb when they became ill. She loved her bingo nights and went every Thursday to the casino for lunch and slots with Kathy.

We want to thank all the residents and staff at Senior Star at Dublin Retirement Village for making Mary's time there an enjoyable experience.

Family and friends are invited to visit the Tidd Funeral Home at 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, OH on Monday, February 20 from 4-7pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at St. Stephen's the Martyr Church, 4131 Clime Rd., Columbus on Tuesday, February 21 at 11:00 am for the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne.
